Data privacy is a HUGE part of what I do. The truth is - I don't care what your data is; I only want to know if I can recover it. All of my recovery work is done at a command line terminal, and I generally never see anything more than folder and file names.


I generally only see file and folder names. I rarely look closely at names, I am actually concerned about the size and integrity of files.

 

I do not care if you have downloaded files from the internet or viewed inappropriate materials, or if you have used illicit substances. Those files recover the same as any other file.

 

If I accidentally detect that you have committed a crime of exploitation or a felony that resulted in harm to another person, I will notify the appropriate authority. I have a conscience, and I draw the line at harming other people.
